We tend to embrace a clip more if the frame rate is tuned down to half its speed. Why does the world look much more beautiful when each movement is slow and graceful? Remember scenes from James Bond series or war movies where the explosion scene would show in slow motion, the hero would struggle through the guns and powder with such grimace gesture on his face? We would all go "wow" and our hearts will sink deep with the obstacles he faced and presented in front of us.
